TGI Friday's @ Prosperity Course Meal

Now let's just straight to the point. Le bf and I had no idea what to dine for dinner in Pavilion so we ended up for TGI Friday's. I thought of ordering the burger again but then this caught my attention.

CHEAP HOR? I think it is cheap enough la. Do remember TGI Friday's always serve the meal in big portion. I have no idea when is this promotion is going to end because I read it from their Facebook, saying this promotion has been on since February lol. So now let's see what we had for the meal.

Texas BBQ Chicken Quesadillas

Fried Mozzarella (Original price @ RM 17.90)
Mozzarella cheese coated in special Italian-style breading, then deep fried and served with a rich marinara sauce.

Chicken with Peppers and Mushrooms (Original price @ RM 30.90)
Stuffed chicken breast simmered with sweet and spicy peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, capers and olives. Served with herb rice.
Erm, I made a mistake and thought it was served by black pepper. In fact, it was served by bell pepper so I'm regretted for having this. I don't find myself liking the taste because of the bell pepper. However, the herb rice tasted pretty good.

Southwest Mac & Cheese (Original price @ RM 26.90)
A juicy fire-grilled chicken breast served with creamy Monterey Jack, jalapenos, penne and cheese, then finished with shredded Parmesan cheese and diced red peppers.
Cheesy! Everything about this meal is cheesy! If you are a cheese lover, please do order this lol. The only bad thing was that, the macaroni wasn't soft enough for one to bite.

Verdict: The total bill was RM 81.00, which means it was around RM 41.00 per person. The meal is worth at such pricing but in terms of the food, it was so-so. Oh yeah, the food portion is big and I think it can be served for 3 persons. I don't really like to dine in Pavilion's outlet because of the seatings. I find it is quite packed compared to other outlets.

  1. For some reason the title reminds me of one of those CNY deals. Then I thought of McD prosperity burgers. LOL.. I don't think this is a smart move of TGIF if there is no consistency with the food served (since you said the food was so-so)huh?..

    1. I still think it depends on the chef. Sometimes the chef can be good enough and you rarely will have complaint for the food you ordered. I'm pretty sure this is just one of their marketing method to promote their "not-so-famous" food
